Abstract:

Introduction: Health care workers are exposed to vast number of occupational hazards. According to the importance of protecting these valuable workforces, it is necessary to assess various deleterious factors in their career to make right decisions in dealing with these situations. Methods and Materials: In this study, first, all the hazards of different units of a treatment center were investigated. Then, one of the units that had the most hazardous of them was selected based on hazardous identification checklists. Finally, the most important hazard of previous step were ranked by analytical network Process. Results: The results of analytical network process indicated that the risk associated with personnel safety in formaldehyde exposure regions, had higher priority with considering a weight factor equal to 0.55 for all indexes. However, the exposure to anesthetist gases and job stress had the highest rank, considering financial and credit consequences separately. Discussion and Conclusion: Results confirmed that using analytical network process along with other methods of hazard identification will accelerate this process and achieve more trustable results. Moreover, it will facilitate the decision making process.

Evaluation of recommender systems: A multi-criteria decision making approach

The evaluation and selection of recommender systems is a difficult decision making process. This difficulty is partially due to the large diversity of published evaluation criteria in addition to lack of standardized methods of evaluation. As such, a systematic methodology is needed that explicitly considers multiple, possibly conflicting metrics and assists decision makers to evaluate and find...

applying a multi criteria decision making model based on grey theory in performance evaluation of firms

rapid technological and economic growth over the last several decades has changed human lives and made modern society face complex decision making problems. these kinds of problems are characterized by incommensurate and conflicting criteria or objectives such as cost, reliability, performance, safety and productivity. multi criteria decision making is an approach that can be used to deal compl...

Fuzzy multi-criteria decision making method based on fuzzy structured element with incomplete weight information

The fuzzy structured element (FSE) theory is a very useful toolfor dealing with fuzzy multi-criteria decision making (MCDM)problems by transforming the criterion value vectors of eachalternative into the corresponding criterion function vectors. Inthis paper, some concepts related to function vectors are firstdefined, such as the inner product of two function vectors, thecosine of the included ...

A New Multi-Criteria Decision Making Based on Fuzzy- Topsis Theory

Abstract— In this paper, a new extended method of multi criteria decision making based on fuzzy-Topsis theory is introduced. fuzzy mcdm algorithm for determining the best choice among all possible choices when the data are fuzzy is also presented. Using a new index leads to procedure for choosing fuzzy ideal and negative ideal solutions directly from the fuzzy data observed alternatives.in this...
